ATL Hearing in Federal Court in D.C.
On May 11, Attorneys for Youth from around the country will argue that the Federal Atmospheric Trust Lawsuit should not be dismissed. Support the youngest generation by filling the courthouse in D.C. Help us send a strong and respectful message to the Court that we are right behind these amazing youth and they should have their claims fully considered. The Federal Government has an obligation under the Public Trust Doctrine to protect the essential resources on which our youngest generation, and future generations, depends for their well-being and survival. If the Court won’t protect their rights, who will?
Judge Wilkins will hear arguments on May 11, and decide shortly thereafter, whether to keep the federal lawsuit or to dismiss it, as the Federal Defendants and the Industry Intervenors have asked. It is a big moment for these young people and the future of our nation. They need your support.
When: Friday, May 11, 2012
