Judge Will Hear Oral Argument In Massachusetts Climate Case Brought By Youth

Come watch Judge Gordon hear oral arguments on March 9th, at 2pm in an important climate change case, Kain et al. v. Mass Dept of Environmental Protection, brought by four inspiring youth plaintiffs against the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The youth plaintiffs are arguing that the DEP is failing to fulfill its legal obligations to reduce Massachusetts' greenhouse gas emissions, as required by the Massachusetts Global Warming Solutions Act. The plaintiffs are working to ensure that Massachusetts is complying with the law and doing everything necessary to protect their right to a healthy atmosphere and stable climate system.

We need to show the judge that we support these youth plaintiffs in their efforts to protect everyone's rights to a safe and livable Massachusetts.
