Lola M.

Age: 20 | Hometown: Salt Lake City, UTah

Lola has been a committed advocate for climate and air quality justice in Utah since she was in the fifth grade. She started an environmental club at her high school; helped develop a resolution for her school district to transition to renewable energy; worked on her school district’s sustainability taskforce, recycling committee, and farm to school committee; is active in Utah Youth Environmental Solutions; and tries to reduce her own impact by driving less, eating a mostly plant-based diet, and reducing energy usage.

Currently an undergraduate at Brown University, Lola is studying Biology and Environmental Science. In the future, Lola hopes to get her MD/PhD so that she can study environmental exposures and epidemiology, as well as working directly with patients through primary care.
