NANCY TAO (She/HER)

Government Affairs Intern

Nancy Tao is a passionate advocate for climate justice, with a background in community organizing and policy. Originally from New York, she has also lived in Beijing and Boston, experiences that shaped her understanding of global climate disparities.

Currently pursuing a B.A. in Political Science at Barnard College of Columbia University and specializing in international relations and environmental policy, Nancy is dedicated to bridging the gap between climate, race, and education policy. Her work with AAPI rights organizations has fueled her commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices in climate advocacy.

Nancy’s passion for environmental justice began in elementary school, and she is excited to join Our Children’s Trust to push for judicial and systemic change at the forefront of the climate movement. In her free time, she enjoys museum hopping, cafe hunting, and reading mystery novels.
