The Court instructed the government to file its response to the plaintiffs’ petition for a writ of mandamus by October 16, 2024. Simultaneously, the Supreme Court granted the youth plaintiffs’ request for an extension until December 9, 2024, to petition the court for a writ of certiorari, if it becomes necessary.”
